We are thrilled to present a fantastic opportunity for a Business Analyst who will play a crucial role in facilitating capital expenditure initiatives and SAP processes during the launch of a new manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of capital purchase orders, collaborating with various teams to aid in system deployment, and coordinating capital spending efforts to guarantee that projects are executed effectively, precisely, and in accordance with operational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the SAP capital expenditure (CAPEX) purchase order process, managing it from the creation of purchase orders through to the receipt of goods.
- Work in partnership with cross-functional project teams and key stakeholders to assist in the deployment and implementation of SAP for the new manufacturing facility.
- Manage and coordinate activities related to capital purchase orders within the capital spending framework to ensure processing is timely and precise.
- Engage with internal departments to meet daily operational and project needs.
- Assist with change management relating to capital projects, which includes updating purchase orders, adjusting pricing, processing changes, and assessing cost and schedule impacts.
- Collaborate with supply chain and procurement departments concerning capital spending efforts and vendor negotiations.
- Foster a safe working environment by engaging in safety programs, accident prevention measures, incident investigations, equipment maintenance, and adherence to safety policies and regulations.
- Identify and evaluate operational risks linked to assigned projects and manufacturing processes, and aid in the development of mitigation strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of two years of experience using SAP in production, purchasing, procurement, or a similar manufacturing context.
- Proven experience in managing purchase orders and capital expenditure processes.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and collaborative skills across different functions.
- Capacity to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic manufacturing setting.
