Job Summary
The Cardiac Telemetry RN Clinician is primarily responsible for delivering exceptional nursing care to patients with cardiovascular conditions. This role involves continuous monitoring of patients’ cardiac rhythms, participating in care planning, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Monitor patients’ cardiac telemetry and recognize potential issues.
- Administer medications and treatment under the guidance of the healthcare provider.
- Educate patients and families about cardiac conditions and health maintenance.
- Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner in the medical records.
- Assist in the coordination of patient care and discharge planning.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
- Experience in telemetry nursing or critical care preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
