Job Summary
The Caregiver plays a vital role in supporting clients in their everyday activities, enhancing their quality of life through personalized assistance and care. This position involves helping clients with personal hygiene, preparing meals, and maintaining a tidy living environment. Additionally, caregivers are tasked with effectively communicating the clients’ ongoing care requirements and ensuring collaboration with families and healthcare staff.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care and hygiene needs.
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to clients’ preferences.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to foster a clean living space.
- Communicate regularly with clients, families, and care teams regarding care plans.
- Document and report any changes in clients’ health or well-being.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 6 months of relevant caregiving experience.
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- A reliable mode of transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- HCA (Home Care Aide) license is preferred.
