Job description
The Central Sterile Technician plays a crucial role in the decontamination, preparation, sterilization, and distribution of surgical instruments and medical devices. Responsibilities also include aiding in the setup of procedure rooms and ensuring precise documentation of sterilization activities. Applicants should possess a high school diploma or its equivalent, and preference will be given to those who have completed a Central Service operations course or have comparable experience. A strong understanding of sterilization techniques, infection prevention, and the ability to navigate electronic systems is essential.
