The Medical Assistant supports both clinical and administrative functions by preparing patient rooms, conducting diagnostic tests, and overseeing medication distribution. They are responsible for coordinating care, processing prescription refills, and educating patients to ensure a smooth clinical workflow. Applicants are required to have a recognized certification, including CCMA, CMA, or RMA, along with a High School Diploma or GED. Additionally, a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
