Job Summary
This position involves delivering direct personal care and emotional support to patients with terminal illnesses, either in their residences or within care facilities. The role focuses on assisting patients with everyday activities, observing their health conditions, and ensuring meticulous documentation of care visits.
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on personal care and emotional reassurance to terminally ill patients.
- Support patients in performing daily living activities effectively.
- Observe and report on the condition of patients to healthcare professionals.
- Maintain precise and comprehensive records of all care visits.
Qualifications
- Possession of an active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license.
- Current CPR certification is required.
- A valid driver’s license with access to a dependable vehicle.
- A minimum of six months experience in providing direct patient care is essential.
