Job Summary
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is responsible for providing quality care to patients during the night shift. This role is essential in ensuring that patient needs are met effectively and compassionately while supporting the nursing staff in delivering comprehensive medical services. The position is part-time and primarily involves direct patient care and assistance.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and eating.
- Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes to nursing staff promptly.
- Help maintain a clean and safe environment for all patients.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
- Assist with mobility and transport of patients within the facility.
Qualifications
- Must have a valid Certified Nursing Assistant certification.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible schedule to accommodate night shift requirements.
