Job Summary
The primary role of this position is to provide essential support to nursing staff through direct patient care, ensuring that patients receive the attention and assistance they require in their daily activities. This involves monitoring vital signs and maintaining a supportive and hygienic environment conducive to patient comfort and healing.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, aiding in activities of daily living.
- Monitor and record vital signs of patients regularly.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients.
- Document clinical observations accurately.
- Assist nursing staff with treatment procedures as needed.
Qualifications
- Must possess a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license.
- Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification is required.
- Preferred: Minimum of 6 months experience in a healthcare setting, such as an acute or long-term care facility.
