Job Summary
The Certified Payroll Specialist plays a critical role in the management and processing of certified payroll specific to prevailing wage employees. This position involves meticulous tracking of time worked and the production of weekly compliance reports. The specialist ensures that all related documentation adheres to applicable laws and labor compliance requirements.
Responsibilities
- Process and manage certified payroll for employees subject to prevailing wage requirements.
- Track time and attendance for employees working under prevailing wage standards.
- Generate and compile weekly compliance reports to ensure regulatory adherence.
- Address and resolve any payroll discrepancies efficiently.
- Verify that all payroll documentation aligns with existing laws and labor compliance programs.
- Interpret complex construction contracts as they relate to payroll matters.
- Manage documentation pertinent to prevailing wage and apprenticeship requirements.
