Job Summary
The Certified Surgical Technologist – OR – Seasonal position at Medical City Frisco in Frisco, Texas, is a vital role focused on supporting nursing services for surgical patients under supervision. This position operates within the frameworks and policies specific to Operating Room care, ensuring effective and safe procedures.
Responsibilities
- Support the surgical team by preparing the operating room for surgery, ensuring all necessary equipment and instruments are sterile and available.
- Assist in patient positioning and transportation to the operating room as required.
- Work closely with the nursing staff to deliver exceptional care to surgical patients.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and protocols related to operating room procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the surgical environment.
Qualifications
- Must possess certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST).
- Prior experience in a surgical or operating room setting is preferred.
- Strong understanding of aseptic techniques and surgical instruments.
- Ability to work collaboratively with the surgical and nursing teams.
- Flexibility to adapt to the seasonal nature of this role.
