**Chief Engineer**
The Chief Engineer is responsible for managing daily maintenance activities to guarantee the safety and comfort of hotel guests and employees. This role involves overseeing the physical plant equipment, supervising the maintenance team, and ensuring adherence to safety standards and building codes. Candidates should have a comprehensive understanding of HVAC systems, electrical work, plumbing, and general maintenance. Familiarity with OSHA and ADA regulations is also essential. Strong skills in organization, leadership, and problem-solving are crucial for effectively overseeing departmental budgets and staff processes.
