Job Summary
The Auto Estimator is responsible for gathering vehicle data through interactions with repair shops or customers, facilitating both initial and supplementary repair estimates utilizing photographs or conducting in-person evaluations. The role includes offering technical assistance to claim handlers and ensuring outstanding customer service throughout the claims process.
Responsibilities
- Collect vehicle information needed for repair estimations.
- Conduct initial and supplemental estimates via photos and in-person assessments.
- Provide technical support to claim handlers.
- Deliver excellent customer service during the claims process.
Qualifications
- Experience in auto collision repair, auto damage estimating, or auto insurance appraisal.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Strong communication skills.
- Physical capability to assess vehicle damage effectively.
