The phlebotomist will carry out venipuncture collections and handle the processing of laboratory specimens in accordance with departmental standards. They will also oversee order entry, upkeep laboratory equipment, and foster a safe, patient-focused atmosphere. Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, along with a phlebotomy certification or a minimum of one year of relevant experience in healthcare. Knowledge of medical terminology and experience with EMR systems are advantageous.
