Job Summary
The Clinical Nurse is responsible for delivering safe, effective, and high-quality patient care through the application of nursing theories, research, and evidence-based methodologies. This role involves active collaboration with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and manage comprehensive patient care plans, conduct clinical evaluations, and ensure efficient patient flow within the facility.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality and safe patient care utilizing nursing knowledge and evidence-based practices.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to create and manage individualized patient care plans.
- Conduct thorough clinical assessments to monitor patient health status.
- Facilitate the process of patient admission, progression, and discharge to optimize throughput.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program is required.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in New York State.
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is mandatory.
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BCLS) is essential.
