Job Summary
The Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is responsible for delivering individual psychotherapy, performing diagnostic assessments, and creating personalized treatment strategies for children and adolescents. This position also includes the provision of clinical oversight to registered Associate Clinical Social Workers, promoting their professional growth and ensuring compliance with Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual psychotherapy for children and adolescents.
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess client needs.
- Develop tailored treatment plans based on individual assessments.
- Offer clinical supervision to Associate Clinical Social Workers to facilitate their professional development.
- Ensure adherence to BBS requirements within supervision practices.
Qualifications
- Master of Social Work (MSW) degree is required.
- Possession of an active and unrestricted LCSW license in California.
- Demonstrated experience in child and adolescent mental health services.
- Ability to fulfill BBS supervision requirements effectively.
