Job Summary
The Construction Manager/Mechanical Engineer (CM-ME) position is crucial for overseeing mechanical engineering aspects within hospital construction projects in West Haven, Connecticut. This role encompasses ensuring compliance with the submittal process and facilitating the certification of facility operations and systems.
Responsibilities
- Manage the mechanical engineering components of the construction process for hospitals.
- Ensure adherence to the submittal process, verifying all materials and systems meet required standards.
- Facilitate the certification of operational systems, including but not limited to electric dumbwaiters.
- Coordinate structural contract modifications and oversee related adjustments in environmental safety and civil engineering practices.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction management with a focus on mechanical engineering.
- Strong understanding of certification processes for medical facilities.
