Job Summary
The clinical professional plays a crucial role in supporting physicians during patient assessments, medical procedures, and treatments while ensuring that electronic health records are meticulously maintained. This position also involves providing patients with essential information regarding their health and medications, as well as organizing any required follow-up care.
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during patient examinations and medical procedures.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate electronic health records.
- Educate patients on health-related topics and medication management.
- Coordinate follow-up care for patients as necessary.
Qualifications
- Must possess an active, unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or be a certified/registered medical assistant from an accredited institution.
- Prior experience in a clinical or outpatient environment is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with EPIC software is an advantage.
