CNC Programmer
Euclid, OH
Pay Rate: $33 – $39/hr The CNC Programmer will be the primary resource for new and existing Mazak vertical milling operations. The CNC Programmer will develop clean, reliable, production-ready CNC programs, while supporting machinists on the shop floor, and ensuring all machining documentation is accurate. CNC Programmer Responsibilities:
- Program Mazak vertical milling machines using Mastercam based on 3D CAD models.
- Convert and update legacy Mastercam programs into modern, fully editable formats to improve usability and efficiency.
- Develop and prepare CNC programs in advance of machine installation to support production readiness.
- Collaborate with machinists and engineers to optimize machining strategies and ensure manufacturability.
- Provide programming support for the machining of aluminum housings and steel shafts.
- Create and update manufacturing drawings, including generating accurate 2D drawings from 3D models to support production and documentation
CNC Programmer Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Experience with Mastercam
- 5+ years of experience as a CNC Programmer
- Proficient with 3D CAD software (CATIA, SolidWorks or Creo)
- Experience programming machinery from scratch
- Machinist experience
