Job Summary
The CNC Programmer is essential for creating and optimizing CNC machining processes. This role focuses on developing programs that drive automated machine tools to ensure precision and efficiency in production.
Responsibilities
- Develop and modify CNC programs based on engineering specifications.
- Optimize machining processes for improved productivity and quality.
- Collaborate with engineers and machinists to meet project requirements.
- Conduct tests and troubleshoot CNC equipment to ensure proper operation.
- Document processes and maintain organized records of CNC programs.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in CNC programming languages and software.
- Experience with 3D modeling and CAD/CAM systems.
- Strong understanding of machining processes and tooling.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
