Job Summary
The role of Construction Manager/Mechanical Engineer involves overseeing construction projects, specifically in mechanical systems at a designated site in Montgomery, Alabama. The position is onsite and requires collaboration with various teams to ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the management of construction activities and supervise mechanical engineering tasks.
- Address and mitigate critical electrical hazards to maintain a safe working environment.
- Coordinate the necessary documentation for efficient payment processing with the Department of Veterans Affairs.
- Assist in resolving site issues and ensure timely project completion.
- Certify the functionality of facilities and their operating systems as part of the project management.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction management and mechanical engineering fields.
- Strong understanding of electrical safety standards and regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on quality assurance.
- Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders, including contractors and government officials.
