Job description
Job Summary
The Controls Engineer is responsible for the design, development, and implementation of control systems across various industrial applications. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to improve equipment functionality and increase operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement control algorithms for complex systems.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations during development processes.
- Conduct testing and validation of control strategies to optimize performance.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate control systems with new and existing equipment.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for control systems in the field.
- Document control processes and maintain technical specifications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
- Proven experience in control systems design and implementation, preferably in an industrial environment.
- Strong understanding of programming languages such as PLC, C/C++, or Python.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
