Job Summary

The Cook (Part Time) is responsible for preparing high-quality meals that meet the dietary requirements of the establishment while ensuring food safety and cleanliness standards are upheld. This role contributes to a positive dining experience through creativity and attention to detail in food presentation and flavor.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook meals in accordance with menu specifications.
  • Handle food products with care, ensuring safe storage and proper hygiene practices.
  • Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to maintain workflow and inventory.
  • Assist in menu planning and suggest new meal options based on seasonal ingredients.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations in food handling and preparation.

Qualifications

  • Previous cooking experience in a restaurant or catering environment is preferred.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
  • Ability to follow recipes accurately and be creative with food presentation.
