Job Summary
The Corporate Controller is responsible for guiding daily accounting functions, ensuring financial close processes, maintaining the integrity of the general ledger, and managing regulatory reporting. This role involves leading the accounting team, overseeing internal control mechanisms, and collaborating with various departments to guarantee accurate financial outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage daily accounting operations.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial closes.
- Maintain general ledger accuracy.
- Oversee the preparation of regulatory reports.
- Manage and develop the accounting team.
- Implement and monitor internal controls.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve precise financial reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- CPA license required.
- Minimum of ten years of progressive accounting experience.
- Strong understanding of banking or financial services.
- Expertise in technical accounting and internal control processes.
