Job Summary
The Counter Sales Associate plays a vital role in addressing customer requirements through various communication channels, including in-person, phone, and email. This position involves taking orders and offering technical details about products. Additionally, the associate works closely with management to enhance dealer partnerships, optimize territory coverage, and guarantee precise order fulfillment.
Responsibilities
- Engage with customers via face-to-face, phone, and email to understand and manage their needs.
- Process customer orders while ensuring adherence to quality and accuracy.
- Provide detailed technical information regarding products to assist customer inquiries.
- Collaborate with management to strengthen relationships with dealers.
- Support efforts to enhance territory coverage and representation.
- Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment for customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of progressively responsible experience in sales.
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of HVAC equipment is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills coupled with effective communication abilities.
