Job Summary
The CT Technologist for the Weekend Day Shift is responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography scans and ensuring optimal patient care during weekend shifts. This position includes working three 12-hour shifts, primarily on Saturday and Sunday, contributing to patient diagnostic services in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct CT imaging procedures, ensuring adherence to protocols and safety standards.
- Prepare patients for examinations, providing comfort and addressing any concerns.
- Maintain and operate CT equipment, troubleshooting any technical issues as they arise.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals for accurate diagnosis.
- Document patient information and scan results accurately in the system.
- Follow infection control procedures and maintain a clean working environment.
Qualifications
- Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification in Computed Tomography.
- Current state licensure to practice radiation therapy.
- Experience in a clinical setting with knowledge of CT protocols is preferred.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
- Ability to work weekend days in a fast-paced environment.
