Job Summary
The CT Technologist for the Weekend Day Shift works three twelve-hour shifts, providing essential imaging services. This role focuses on performing computed tomography scans while assuring patient care and safety. The technologist collaborates with medical staff to deliver high-quality diagnostic images and is integral to the patient treatment process.
Responsibilities
- Perform complete and accurate CT scans as per physician orders.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during the scanning procedure.
- Maintain imaging equipment and troubleshoot any issues as they arise.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Document imaging procedures and maintain accurate patient records.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to enhance patient care.
Qualifications
- Certification in Radiologic Technology with a focus on CT imaging.
- Valid state license to practice as a CT technologist.
- Strong knowledge of radiation safety protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and adapt to changing environments.
