Job Summary
The Day Shift State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) is essential in providing high-quality care for residents in a healthcare setting. This role involves assisting with daily living activities, ensuring the well-being and comfort of patients, and maintaining a positive and supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living tasks including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs and report changes in patient conditions to nursing staff.
- Support residents with mobility and transfer assistance.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in patient rooms and common areas.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
- Follow care plans and maintain accurate documentation of patient care.
Qualifications
- Must possess a current State Tested Nursing Assistant certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Compassionate and patient-centric attitude.
- Prior experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting is preferred.
