Job Summary

The Day Shift State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) is essential in providing high-quality care for residents in a healthcare setting. This role involves assisting with daily living activities, ensuring the well-being and comfort of patients, and maintaining a positive and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with daily living tasks including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Monitor and record vital signs and report changes in patient conditions to nursing staff.
  • Support residents with mobility and transfer assistance.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in patient rooms and common areas.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
  • Follow care plans and maintain accurate documentation of patient care.

Qualifications

  • Must possess a current State Tested Nursing Assistant certification.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
