Job Summary
The Database Administrator is responsible for crafting and overseeing a contemporary Lakehouse structure founded on Snowflake, utilizing Medallion Architecture and automated ELT processes. This role also includes the management of data catalogs and execution of database administration duties, along with mentoring team members to maintain exceptional data platform functionality.
Responsibilities
- Design and govern a Snowflake-based Lakehouse employing Medallion Architecture.
- Develop and manage automated ELT pipelines.
- Oversee data catalogs and perform necessary database administration tasks.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to staff to ensure high-quality operations within the data platform.
Qualifications
- Over 7 years of experience in data dictionary and model design.
- More than 5 years of experience in enterprise data warehouse or Lakehouse solutions.
- Proficient in SQL, Python, and cloud data platform technologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
