Job Summary
We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic and skilled Dental Assistant with Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) credentials. This role entails providing exceptional support to our dental team while ensuring a rewarding experience for our patients. As a key member of our practice, you will play an instrumental role in delivering high-quality dental care and enhancing the patient experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures, ensuring an efficient workflow.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and dental equipment.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
- Take dental radiographs and manage patient records.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient follow-ups effectively.
- Support administrative tasks within the dental practice.
Qualifications
- Current EFDA certification is mandatory.
- Prior experience working as a Dental Assistant is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to patient care.
