Job Summary
The primary role involves managing the dispensing and retrieval of dental instruments and equipment through a tracking system, while also providing support for central sterilization and clinical dispensary operations in line with patient care standards.
Responsibilities
- Dispense and retrieve dental instruments and equipment utilizing an instrument tracking system.
- Support central sterilization and clinic dispensary operations according to patient care guidelines.
- Order and organize dental supplies while adhering to infection-control measures.
- Conduct inspections of returned dental equipment.
- Oversee the management of equipment loans to students and faculty.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED is mandatory.
- Ability to accurately follow detailed instructions.
- Effective communication skills and capability to write routine reports.
- Basic mathematical skills for performing calculations.
- Detail-oriented and professional demeanor.
- Aptitude for prioritizing tasks within a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and general dental software is advantageous.
