Job Summary
The Night Shift Registered Nurse (RN) plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care during the night hours. This position involves monitoring patient health, administering medications, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The RN will utilize their expertise to respond effectively to emergencies and support the overall functions of the healthcare facility.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their care needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Observe and document patient progress and changes in condition.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Provide support and education to patients and their families regarding health conditions and treatments.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and provide appropriate interventions.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records in compliance with facility policies.
Qualifications
- Valid nursing license in the relevant state.
