Job Summary
The Night Shift RN position is focused on providing exceptional nursing care and ensuring the well-being of patients during the night hours. The role involves working collaboratively with medical staff to deliver comprehensive and efficient treatment, ensuring a safe environment for all patients.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions consistently throughout the night.
- Document patient progress and communicate any changes to the healthcare team.
- Provide patient education and support to patients and their families.
- Respond to emergencies promptly and effectively, prioritizing patient safety.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and orderly environment, adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred, but not mandatory.
- Previous nursing experience, particularly in a night shift capacity, is advantageous.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
