Job Summary
The Design Lead eCommerce is responsible for guiding the design strategies and execution for our online retail platforms. This role focuses on enhancing user experience and driving engagement through innovative design solutions. The individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the visual elements align with brand standards and meet business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee the design vision for the eCommerce platform.
- Collaborate with marketing, merchandising, and IT departments to create cohesive online experiences.
- Create user-centered design concepts that enhance customer interaction and satisfaction.
- Lead a team of designers, providing mentorship and guidance to promote professional growth.
- Conduct user research and testing to inform design decisions and improvements.
- Ensure consistency and quality across all digital touchpoints while adhering to brand guidelines.
- Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to keep the design approach modern and effective.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Proven experience in eCommerce design or digital product design.
- Strong portfolio showcasing design projects and leadership abilities.
- Expertise in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or Figma.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate design concepts effectively.
- Understanding of user experience principles and best practices in eCommerce.
