Job Summary

The Dietary Aide is responsible for assisting in the preparation and serving of meals in accordance with established dietary guidelines and nutrition standards. This role plays a vital part in maintaining food safety, cleanliness, and hygiene in the kitchen and dining areas while ensuring that the dietary needs of residents or clients are met effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and serving of meals to residents or clients.
  • Follow nutritional guidelines and dietary requirements for meal planning.
  • Ensure proper food safety and sanitation practices are maintained.
  • Help with kitchen cleanliness and organization.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to streamline meal service.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience in food service or dietary settings is a plus.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
