Job description
**Director of Accounting**
The Director of Accounting is responsible for supervising property accounting teams, managing financial reporting related to operating properties, and ensuring adherence to US GAAP and internal control standards. This role also focuses on leading process enhancements, managing change initiatives, and overseeing accounting for real estate acquisitions and dispositions. Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Accounting or Finance and hold a Certified Public Accountant designation. The ideal applicant will have 5-10 years of professional accounting experience, including a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role, along with expertise in ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP.
