Job Summary
The Director of Supply Chain plays a crucial role in leading the strategic direction of purchasing, material management, supplier enhancement, and logistics operations within the aerospace manufacturing sector. This position is responsible for ensuring adherence to operational standards as per AS9100, ITAR, and EAR regulations while enhancing organizational performance through effective KPI monitoring and collaboration across various functions.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee purchasing, material control, supplier development, and logistics processes in aerospace manufacturing.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations including AS9100, ITAR, and EAR.
- Utilize KPI management to improve operational performance.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to support overall supply chain objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- A minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience within supply chain roles in regulated manufacturing environments.
- Expertise in ERP/MRP systems, particularly Deltek Costpoint.
- Strong knowledge of aerospace regulatory requirements.
