Job description
Job Summary
The Senior Machine Controls Engineer will play a pivotal role in the design and implementation of complex control systems for advanced machinery. This position requires a strong technical background and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment to ensure that project objectives are met efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop machine control systems tailored to meet specific project requirements.
- Conduct testing and debugging of control systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate control solutions with mechanical and electrical systems.
- Provide technical support and guidance to engineering teams during system installations and troubleshooting.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in control technology to continuously improve processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in machine controls engineering.
- Proficiency in programming languages relevant to control systems, such as PLC programming and HMI development.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
