Job description

Job Summary

The Document Control Specialist plays a pivotal role in managing and overseeing documentation processes within the organization. This position is essential for maintaining the integrity and accuracy of documents and ensuring that all internal and external regulatory requirements are met.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain document control procedures to ensure the systematic organization of documents.
  • Implement and oversee the lifecycle management of documents including creation, review, approval, and distribution.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements pertaining to document management.
  • Provide training and support to staff on proper documentation practices and use of document control systems.
  • Regularly audit documents to verify accuracy and completeness.
  • Collaborate with various departments to facilitate smooth document flow across the organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience in document management.
  • Knowledge of document control processes and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in document management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
