Job description
**Lead Teacher**
In this role, the Lead Teacher will primarily focus on creating and executing developmentally suitable lesson plans within a supportive and secure classroom atmosphere. They will also take charge of various administrative responsibilities, including supervising staff, maintaining records, and communicating with families to ensure that the center adheres to state guidelines. Candidates should have at least an Associate’s degree in early childhood education or a related discipline, or hold a CDA/OCFS-recognized credential, in addition to 1-2 years of teaching and supervisory experience. Furthermore, applicants must be physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and be medically cleared to work in a childcare environment.
