**Job Title: ED Patient Care Tech**
The ED Patient Care Technician plays an essential role in delivering direct patient care and administrative support in the Emergency Department, working under the guidance of professional staff. Key responsibilities involve tracking patient vital signs, conducting EKG tests, managing medical documentation, and upholding a safe atmosphere for both patients and their families. Applicants are required to possess a valid Rhode Island Certified Nursing Assistant credential and Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification. A high school diploma or equivalent is desirable, in addition to fundamental computer skills and familiarity with medical terminology.
