**Job Title: Emergency Department Technician**
The Emergency Department Technician plays a vital role in delivering patient care and administrative support in the Emergency Department. Responsibilities include conducting procedures such as EKGs and phlebotomy. The technician works closely with the nursing team to facilitate smooth patient transitions and to uphold a safe and welcoming atmosphere. Applicants must possess at least a high school diploma or its equivalent, along with a current Rhode Island Nursing Assistant certification or a completion certificate from a medical assistant training program. Additionally, candidates are required to have Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification and demonstrate proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
