Job Summary
The Education Manager is responsible for the design, organization, and delivery of ongoing educational initiatives and training sessions aimed at hospital personnel, which encompass general orientation programs. This role also entails overseeing educational budgets and ensuring adherence to both corporate and accreditation standards in partnership with department leaders.
Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct continuing education and in-service training for hospital staff.
- Manage and monitor the educational budget allocated for programs.
- Ensure compliance with corporate guidelines and accreditation requirements.
- Collaborate with various department heads to align educational programs with organizational goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing or a related healthcare discipline; Master’s degree is preferred.
- Minimum of five years’ experience in an acute care environment.
- At least one year of experience serving as a clinical preceptor or in a management role.
