Job description
The Environmental Services Technician II plays a crucial role in ensuring the hospital maintains high standards of cleanliness. This includes responsibilities such as floor maintenance, disinfecting surfaces, and handling both hazardous and medical waste. Additionally, the position entails organizing furniture, collecting linens, and assisting with the cleaning of discharge areas and operating rooms. Ideal candidates should possess a High School Diploma or GED, with 1-2 years of relevant housekeeping experience preferred. The role also necessitates proficiency in operating cleaning machinery, the ability to lift items weighing up to 35 pounds, and effective communication skills in English.
