Job Summary
The Epic Analyst plays a critical role in optimizing the use of the Epic electronic health record (EHR) system by collaborating with medical staff to enhance workflows. This position is essential in ensuring that the system effectively supports clinical operations, promotes patient safety, and improves overall healthcare delivery.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to analyze and refine workflows related to the Epic system.
- Provide support and guidance to users for troubleshooting and resolving system issues.
- Participate in the implementation and optimization of Epic modules, ensuring they meet clinical needs.
- Conduct training sessions for staff on system usage and best practices.
- Stay updated with the latest Epic software updates and features to maintain system efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, healthcare administration, or a related field.
- Experience with Epic EHR systems is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to assess and improve workflows.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with a variety of stakeholders.
- Certification as an Epic Analyst is advantageous.
