Job description
Job Summary
The Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (Sr. SDET) is responsible for designing and implementing automated testing solutions to ensure software quality. This role combines expertise in software development with a focus on testing methodologies to enhance product reliability and performance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts to ensure software functionality meets expected standards.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve overall software quality through effective testing strategies.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality approaches.
- Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution.
- Design comprehensive test plans and conduct performance testing as needed.
- Support continuous integration and deployment pipelines by integrating automated tests.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in software testing, particularly in automated testing frameworks.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
- Familiarity with testing tools and methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or similar is preferred.
