Facility Maintenance Technician – 1st Shift
Indianola, PA
$32/HR The Facility Maintenance Technician supports the operation and maintenance of electrical and facility infrastructure. This role is ideal for an entry- to mid-level technician looking to build a career in a manufacturing environment. The technician will help ensure reliable, safe, and efficient facility operations that directly support the production of life-saving medical devices. Facility Maintenance Technician Responsibilities

  • Operate, monitor, and maintain facility and electrical infrastructure systems to ensure safe and reliable performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve basic mechanical and technical issues, with opportunities for ongoing training and development.
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on facility equipment and infrastructure systems.
  • Support production operations by maintaining equipment reliability, product quality, and customer demand requirements.
  • Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Maintenance teams to identify issues and recommend improvements.
  • Accurately document maintenance activities and communicate status updates as required.
  • Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and regulatory requirements at all times.
  • Participate in rotating on-call support for off-shift and weekend needs.

Facility Maintenance Technician Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of trade school, military technical training, associate degree, or trade certification (electrical, mechanical, plumbing, or related field preferred).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with mechanical, electrical, automation, and/or chilled water systems.
  • Experience in FDA and ISO regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Experience working in cleanroom or controlled manufacturing settings.
  • Familiarity with SAP or CMMS preventive maintenance systems.
  • Experience providing technical training or supporting equipment users.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety practices.
