Financial Systems Administrator
Columbus, OH
$80,000-$100,000 The Financial Systems Administrator provides technical support for the financial systems of the Firm. This role assists with the training of established best practices for financial systems use and assists the Director of Financial Systems with ensuring these practices are followed throughout the Firm. The Financial Systems Specialist is under the direct supervision of the Director of Financial Systems. Financial Systems Administrator Responsibilities:
- Assist with the technical support, development, and implementation of the Firm’s financial systems including, 3E, PSShip, Image Connect, Chrome River, Design Gallery, Xcelerate, 3E Workspace, Elite DI, and eBilling Hub.
- Manage financial systems tickets / service requests, working with other teams throughout the Firm as needed, such as IT, Accounting, Conflicts, New Business Intake
- Perform new hire orientation and follow-up training on financial systems.
- Assists with financial system upgrades and new software application implementation
- Revise Design Gallery Invoice, Proforma and Check Templates, as needed.
- Assist Director of Finance with data integrity in 3E related to client, matter, timekeeper, and vendor setups.
- Build financial reports in 3E and Power BI
- Backup to New Business Intake
Financial Systems Administrator Requirements:
- B.S. or B.A. in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Accounting preferred
- Minimum three years of experience; law firm experience a plus; SQL experience a plus.
- Demonstrated initiative and self-motivation with ability to work under pressure and think clearly in challenging situations.
- Proficiency in Firm’s many software applications.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task various projects.
- Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written.
- Demonstrates responsiveness, tact, diplomacy, good judgement, and confidentiality in communications with all levels of personnel, clients and outside vendors.
