Job Summary
The Consultative Pharmacy Technician will play a vital role in supporting the pharmacy team by providing consultation services, ensuring the accurate dispensing of medications, and assisting with patient care as needed. The technician will work closely with pharmacists and healthcare providers to enhance the overall quality of patient health outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists with the preparation and dispensing of medications.
- Engage with patients to offer advice and answer medication-related inquiries.
- Maintain accurate pharmacy records and inventory management.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient treatment plans.
- Participate in medication therapy management and consultations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; pharmacy technician certification preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of pharmacy operations and medication therapy.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational capabilities.
