Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Fleet Mechanical Engineer to join our team specializing in heavy civil and underground construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance, safety, and integrity of our fleet and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Assess and analyze structural loads and stresses on equipment.
- Evaluate hydraulic systems, ensuring their efficiency and reliability.
- Design and troubleshoot complex hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Provide technical support and guidance to maintenance teams regarding fleet issues.
Qualifications
- Strong background in mechanical engineering, particularly in fleet management.
- Experience with heavy civil and underground construction processes is advantageous.
- Proficiency in evaluating and designing hydraulic and electrical systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
