Job Summary
This position involves carrying out fundamental floor maintenance duties including cleaning, buffing, and refinishing surfaces in both resident rooms and communal areas. The role is pivotal in ensuring a hygienic environment by adhering to infection control standards while delivering outstanding service to residents and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine cleaning and maintenance of floors in resident areas and common spaces.
- Perform buffing and refinishing tasks to maintain an appealing appearance.
- Ensure compliance with infection control policies to promote a safe environment.
- Provide exceptional customer service to residents and their guests.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Capability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to understand and execute both verbal and written instructions.
- Maintain a positive attitude conducive to a long-term care environment.
