Job Summary
The position involves rotating through various production tasks such as preparing and labeling boxes, verifying labels and date codes, packing products, and loading trays or cases onto storage racks and pallets. Responsibilities
- Rotate through different production positions as needed.
- Prepare and label boxes accurately.
- Verify product labels and date codes to ensure compliance.
- Pack products efficiently for distribution.
- Load trays or cases onto racks and pallets for storage.
- Adhere to food safety, quality, and safety procedures consistently.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace during shifts.
- Complete necessary paperwork at the end of each shift.
- Collaborate effectively with fellow production team members.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience in a fast-paced packaging assembly line is required.
- Proficient in verbal communication in English.
- Basic mathematical skills are necessary.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Reliable attendance is essential for this role.
- Physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds regularly.
- Capacity to stand and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
- Willingness to work in cool conditions and overtime as necessary.
