Job Summary
The Fund Development Director plays a crucial role in formulating and implementing detailed fundraising strategies designed to bolster the organization’s mission and meet its financial objectives. This position encompasses leadership of the development team, management of donor relations, oversight of grant writing activities, and coordination of significant fundraising events.
Responsibilities
- Create and execute comprehensive fundraising strategies aligned with the organization’s mission.
- Lead and mentor the development team to achieve fundraising goals.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with donors.
- Oversee the grant writing process to secure funding.
- Organize and coordinate major fundraising events to enhance community engagement and support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or a minimum of 5 years experience in fundraising.
- Demonstrated success in fundraising, donor relationship management, and grant writing in the nonprofit environment.
